Alpha Gal Syndrome Mimics Allergic Reactions & Stomach Problems

Hi everyone! If you suffer from stomach problems of any kind or histamine-related issues, this topic is for you! If you aren't familiar with Alpha-gal or haven't been tested for it, read on to see if you should consider testing.

🔴Why do some people who were previously able to eat certain foods without issue suddenly develop a food allergy or sensitivity?

🔴One possible answer is Alpha-gal syndrome.

🔴Alpha gal syndrome is becoming increasingly prevalent nationwide, no longer confined to the East Coast of the United States.

🔴 It is tick season! Alpha-gal starts after a tick bite, which might go unnoticed. Its symptoms can easily be mistaken for other common conditions like food allergy, environmental allergy, Histamine intolerance, IBS, SIBO, or other digestive complaints such as nausea, diarrhea, or stomach pain.

🔴Let’s explore alpha-gal symptoms, causes, testing, and treatment. It is easy to test for, so consider asking your provider if you think it is a possibility.
